The Proud Graduate
Yes, Frankie is now a proud graduate of puppy school. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend because I was home waiting for the Fed-Ex guy but Chris gave me the play-by-play of the last class and festivities.
His final exam consisted of three exercises:
1) Puppy Push-ups: a series of consecutive SIT-DOWN-SIT commands
2) Wait: walking at your side and followed by stopping and sitting when you say WAIT
3) Leave It: ignoring an item of interested (usually a treat) on command
All of which, Frankie performed with flying colors. (Of course, we did bring our secret treat weapon...Moo Moo Q's to hold Frankie's attention. What are Moo Moo Q's, you ask. Dehydrated beef lung. YUM!)
I hope you're all proud of Frankie. Next class is...Basic Dog Training, which starts in April. (Now if they just offered a "How to Stop Your Dog From Eating Cat Barf and Poo" class, the world would be a better place.)

Awww! I'm so proud of Frankie. Now I'll have to put together a puppy care package to start him off in his college years!!
