Story Time
After bath time, I'll usually say to Parker, "Time to read a book!"
Believe it or not, he gets totally excited and waddles to the reading chair in the master bedroom. There, under the covered light (so it won't be too bright and interfer with sleepy eyes), we read books as Parker chugs a bottle of milk.
Early favorites were Goodnight Moon
and The Very Hungry Caterpillar but, like many stuff, it's walked off somewhere. (Parker knows but he's not telling.) No worries...they have been replaced with new favorites -- Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, Dr. Seuss's ABC and Green Eggs and Ham.
