Yup. I brought Parker and Piper. While Piper was strapped to me in the Baby Bjorn, Parker took my place bowling. Thank goodness the guys aren't that competitive because Parker didn't break two digits. Of course, if we were playing with a handicap...well, we would have been styling! Hmmmm...maybe we should join a league.

Can you tell which of these two water bottles went into my dishwasher -- top shelf, mind you! (I had to stand the one on the left upside down because it wouldn't sit on its base anymore.)

Believe it or not, the instructions also say not to soak in hot water. Seriously, who has time to coddle a water bottle?

The Road Ahead

The Road AheadSo I've been interviewing for a new job and I just got word today that I got it. Have no fear. I'm still working for the mouse. Actually, I'll still be at the same desk. Instead of site producer, though, I'll be transitioning to a business analyst position. Which means I'll be doing a lot more writing. And, more importantly, I'll be able to give up the on-call phone...no more 2am calls. WHOOPIE!

Office Par-tay!

--Flight of the Conchords

So we had our annual office party today. Ah...good times.

With the whole company gathered together in Tomorrowland (our largest conference room), the IT group once again demonstrated that oil does not mix with water when they, as usual, clustered together at one table. On the bright side, we proved that, yes, these tables can accommodate up to 12 people.

The big winners of the mystery gift give away -- Ravi with the iPod Shuffle and Aimee with the emergency light (which was exactly what she wanted).
